Thapelo s’online interview continues ,when we asked him ,what challenges he faced during his football journey, replied having to balance football and school was his biggest challenge because he never see himself as anything except as a professional footballer, but at the same time he knew and understood the importance of education, so it was very difficult on his side,but he thanked God because he managed to acquire his Human Resources Management Degree at Northwest University ,Mafikeng ,where he was in a Scholarship program called Soccer Institute, were he got exposed in the tournament called Varsity Cup and the tournament was televised on Supersports Channels, where he got spotted by the man called Tebogo Ramasilo of Atlegang Sports Project ,who offered to became his Agent and went take him for trial at Jomo Cosmos ,where the Legendary Jomo Sono signed him after 2 days on trial ,by far his happiest moment of his Career.
Personally his favourite football idol is Teko Modise ,because regarding him as the Best Player in South African Professional football he d’ seen with his eyes of Grace,also told us Teko was a marvel to watch ,when he played ,always remembered him when South Africa was playing Cameroon at Olimpia Park Stadium .He was on form that day ,dominated and controlled the tempo of the game, also scored a Brace ,same night also was inspired by Benny McCarthy S’ Dress Code ,laughs said the man was an Italian beke le beke.Thapelo told us the difference between South African and Botswana Premier Leagues ,in Botswana defenders don’t give you a chance to breath, said they are tough and close you down quickly ,also they are very tight,cried said they don’t have good facilities ,insisted it encourages you as a player to work harder under difficult situations for example your first touch must be on point ,also the difficult situation helps you grow,remuneration wise ,him personally think they can do better if they can stop with the mentality of treating football as a hobby ,but says it starts with understanding that some families depends on it,said players must be paid better for the standard of the league grow .Thapelo s’ Ambitions as a player ,is to play for one of the Biggest Teams in South Africa preferably Mamelodi Sundowns Fc,also play for National team ,one day also play in China or Arab League.

*Security Systems second top goal scorer 2018 (Botswana Premier League )

According to Thapelo his favourite mentor ,his Father Gideon Ratsie ,whose currently coach at Dikwena SAB League side in Royal Bafokeng sports, Repeatedly said his father ,his favourite, because his been there from the start and witnessed him grow as a player and most importantly as a person ,highlighted he always encourages him to think outside football ,his by far one of the people who played a role in him attaining his degree, he would go to the extent of sending him toiletries while was in University. He remembered when he attained his degree and it was his graduations, the man took him shopping to get nice casual outfit ,because he understood how much he love to look fashionable ,happily said he will be always grateful for him.Thapelo in 3 years s’time,he sees himself playing in one of the above mentioned leagues and regular in Bafana Squad.

For him the difference between his previous teams and currently ,previous the competition was high ,because he played with the likes of Linda Mtambo and Mxolisi Machupu ,the intensity was always high at training and just being coached by Jomo Sono was a motivation on its own,as all know the man holds the highest rank interms of producing players ,It was Amazing experience, so as far as the current team the competition is little lower,because of lack of facilities, hinted is not easy at all.The person motivates him to do better every day, it has to be his Queen (mother), she always encourages him to be better and not just as a footballer but as person itself and it also help friends who like Brothers to him back home the likes of Lindani Dudula and the son of the Legendary the Late Philemon Masinga (MHSRIP),Sifiso Masinga ,they always keep him on his toes and encouraging him to be better version of himself, there in Botswana ,he met a team mate who became a brother to him Michael Pillar Midfielder Maestro, he will always speaks positive thoughts in either football or life in General ,a very humble guy .Encouraging words regarding upcoming youngsters, said they must be patient, because at times it takes too long and hurts along the way but most importantly, they must work harder and stay discipline, because there is no use of being patient while you not giving your all to the game and to also remain humble when they reach higher stages in the game.

He started playing football in the dusty streets of Dithabaneng ,in the village called Phokeng Rustenburg as a young boy.He would make a playing field back yard of his home and invited friends from different sections around ,told us would be 2Rands to play the game the whole Day especially in school holidays, then he moved to Lagoon Fc,first went watch their games till he met the man the called coach Gideon Ratsie ,who was the coach and the owner of that club,he was 7 years old by that time.The man developed him,happily said Basically he called that man his father in this game (football), because he gave him an opportunity to showcase his talent at tender age and taught him some basics through grassroots ,also he played him as a left back and moved him to left wing until he made him a top man,the man would play anywhere of the field to an extent to be a goalkeeper when they crisis ,but his mom was against it ,she was not really happy him playing as a goalkeeper, she had to let him play because his dad was a huge Pirates fan and believed that he should play football and go play for Ezimnyama ,that was his motivation to the game. Later his mom joined his Dad add push and support him to persuade his dream and she s’ been his pillar of strength since he finished matric.Luckily after he finished his matric ,he was spotted by the Legendary Allen Freeze to play for Platinum Stars Academy under 19 side where was selected with the likes of Mwenya Chibwe Currently With Polokwane City Fc in Glad Africa and Zambian National Team ,that’s where he was introduced in Pro Football set up at the age of 17.
Thapelo also told us ,his father played a huge part to become a football player ,basically he inspired him back home in a village called Mokgalwaneng ,people would tell him how his father Meleko Jonathan Zimba,the man known as Chencha Guluva,was a star inside the field of play.People would tell him how he had powerful shots both feet ,insisted wanted to have that kind of respect in their Community Regarding football just like his dad.As a hard worker his father would wake him up to do extra training before going to school, so he can stay fit also not lose much when is not attending training, because sometimes when he skipped training would lose a lot and affected his game ,Continued said also the situation played a part for him so he can reach his heights.He wished for him that’s why he still fight till today he hope wherever ,he is proud of him .
Regarding his football journey, he told us football taught him to be able to work with different kind of people, also taught him to respect and most importantly taught him to be patient because is not easy to reach where you want to be,but it helps having people like Tsholofelo Teko the General Modise to look up to,concerning Patience and dedication in the game.Thapelo happily said if you focus as a football player ,is possible to be in the situation Teko Modise is in regarding his Success ,that’s why sometimes he read Teko Modise S’Book the Curse of Teko Modise a lot whenever he feel like giving up.Another Big lesson for him is remain humble even during moments of praises,Because Fluctuations in this game is very common, today you can be a top ,famous and tomorrow you can be nobody, hinted its important to never loose yourself and stay humble.

Bokang started as a player and he struggled to settle for Platinum Stars first team contract ,because he didn’t had an Agent by that time ,then he realised how much players needs Agent in their football career. The person influenced and inspired to be in football is Yohana Mathevula (Sundani Sport Group).Motivation give his Clients always tell them to work hard and Pray .Regarding his Ambitions, he wants to see his Clients develop and grow in top level.We asked him regarding South African football development what changes like to see ?said ‘ he want to see South Africa developing more players and players winning individuals awards that will boost their spirits and confidence and and playing in Europe.Bokang also explained concerning his work highlighted ,you need to be on hand 24 hours a day ,the job is relentless and its very difficult to switch off,the demands of working with top Athletes also means you need to expects in each individual field to give them the best service. Geskenk Van Tsotetsi S’ Interview

Geskenk started playing football back home at Perdekop,Mpumalanga, playing for a team called Chosen Few.She was playing at the second division ,coached by her older Brother ,then she got promoted to the first team in a space of not more than 4 months. The person influenced and inspired her to become a football player ,is her late mother ‘s sister, she was a player and later became a female coach.so for her playing football, it is her honoring her name to long live.Regarding her football journey, lessons she learned, well said it would be wherever you are given a chance use it to your full potential, Also being humble and keep on working hard,only chin-up when it is time to deliver (playing a match).Challenges she faced,told us they had to play Absa League For 3 Seasons before promotion to the Sasol League. Stating it was an easy road but she remember in the their third season in the Absa League, her coach would make them have two sessions per day ,sometimes they would have morning session at 8:00am and afternoon session at 4:00 pm,at time they would have training session at 12:00pm wearing their black rubbish plastic underneath so that they can get used to playing in the sun because Mpumalanga is very hot place.Her ambition is to get a Scholarship overseas, be able to play football and also study because to her football and studies go hand in hand .one must or learn to balance the two.
According to her concerning football development in South Africa ,said it would be for women s’ football to be taken more seriously because its been years women football existing but still one can not say she making a living out of football because they are not paid,it is more of like they play football because they love it hence ,she said football and studies go hand in hand because their qualifications help them if things don’t go well in football. Her favourite football idol ,it is the Dutch goalkeeper Sari Van Veenendaal,Netherlands National Team. Happily said her best mentor in football it would be her coach back home, the person who taught her how to play her current position.Specifically she told us ,her that person would be her (smiling).She find motivation by reflecting where she come from and where she wanna be,so she would say her background has always been her motivation in everything she does in her life.However, other than herself would be a former NWU INSTITUTE male goalkeeper Luzuko Nzori,he always training and posting sessions ,so that motivates her to go to training even when she feel tired .In 3 years s’ time ,she wanna see herself playing in Overseas and to have obtained her second qualification, which she currently studying.Her last words regarding online interview, it was a great experience having to consider that am used to contact interviews and thank you for the opportunity .much appreciated.
