Samkelo started playing street football just for fun,he enjoyed it so much ,also stating they used to bet R2 and R5s by that time. He stated didn’t have the mindset of playing soccer seriously also was not even aware one day will take soccer as his career. The person influenced and inspired him was his dad Mr Zwane,his Dad is owning a football team,so he told him should stop playing street football and take football seriously by start attending training sessions of Mbombela Real Stars Fc Campaigning in the LFA.His idol in football is Christiano Ronaldo.Samkelo wants to see changes in South African Football especially Kasi Boys taking football seriously by working harder and stay discipline also they must have a vision to play football professional ,also hinted he wants to see teams from Mpumalanga to have proper structures regarding their development teams so it can be easily for football scouts coming all over the world to recognize the talent ,through observation and assessment.Lessons he learned during his football journey, is that if you work hard and stay dedicated to whatever you want to achieve in life and soccer you can get it just for praying harder to God .According to Samkelo his career just started to show improvement and he once participated in the Selati Cup in Matsulu was also his achievement because its one of the best tournaments, his Best mentor especially to him was Coach Vusi Vilakati from Mbombela Real Stars Fc.Samkelo s ‘personal goals is to represent his Country (South African National Team) and to play in the highest professional League until he reaches 40 years,Basically his dad gives him the best motivations every day .In 3 years time he d’ love to see himself playing in Glad Africa League which is his first priority ,he wants to achieve that goal before anything insisted he will continue working harder .
Justin Kruger started playing football when he was 10 years old,he was influenced and inspired by his school coach at school to play football. He told us one of his football idol is Carlos Puyol used to play for Fc Barcelona from Spain.During his football journey Justin told us football taught him to be discipline ,also how to be responsible on and off the field. Regarding his Achievements as a footballer, Justin got selected from school to play for the district side in Northern Cape and he got a gold medal from that initiative ,also got 4 medals for Kay Motsepe Provincial Tournament, played for 4 ABC Motsepe League teams ,lastly also attended trials to Orlando Pirates Fc,Supersport United Fc,Freestate Stars Fc and Tuks, unfortunately didn’t made it all the trials he attended. Sanele started playing at the age of 10 with an intention to be a professional footballer. He grew up watching European football a lot,so Mikel Essein was his inspiration when it comes to football. He told us every footballer did have challenges or difficulties in his career,so his challenge was school,so he had to stop playing for 2 years (2017-2019) for him to finish his matric.His ambition is to represent his Country (South Africa) on FIFA World Cup one day . Highlighted something important regarding football in South Africa ,told us he wants to see changes in South African football, he wants everyone to get an opportunity to show their talent and township players to be recognized by the Big Teams.Regarding his Achievements he won the player of the tournament in the u17 Ekurhuleni regional league tournament, Top goal scorer.Sanele s’ goals as a footballer ,wants to see himself being one of the best players in South Africa ,5 years to come,also insisted his football idol is Themba Zwane of Mamelodi Sundowns Fc. Teboho Tsoai known As Sox Started Playing Football around 10 years ago in the dusty grounds of Mareetsane around North West.He Started as goalkeeper also was inspired by Brian “Spiderman ” Baloyi ,as goalkeeper until was converted to became a Centre Back.According to him ,he told us just like any child s’ dream from kasi to is play professional football Locally and Abroad ,Also to represent the National Team. His Ambitions is to inspire other kids who are coming from different backgrounds, also highlighted no matter where you coming from, must ‘nt stop working so you able to achieve your Dreams and Goals.We asked him what changes like to see happening in South African football, said if our development players get more game time in the professional ranks ,will be pleasing on his side ,so they get more experience ,that most coaches said they lack,also he was making example can’t get to know how to drive a car while sitting in the passenger sit ,practice makes perfect also opportunity makes u grow through the mistakes.Teboho pleading to the coaches concerning opportunities for those upcoming youngsters insisted they will learn Along the way and grow ,because football is a game of mistakes. Sibusiso Masilela started playing football at the tender age in Secunda 2006,he was watching kaizer chiefs playing a final,that’s where he saw Rowen Fernandez saving penalties, the following day ,he started playing in goals and was told had a talent there deep down knew he had a passion for it.Proudly said his grand dad was a goalkeeper too,also his father played the game, then he had Rowen Fernandez and Itumeleng Khune as his footballing idols. His favourite player Internationally is Christiano Ronaldo ,stated Ronaldo has achieved all,there is to achieve and he inspired to be a goal scorer like him,as for Locally its Peter Shalulile of Mamelodi Sundowns Fc,also is impressed with Shalulile s’ work ethic every game he played.told us the most important in life need to work harder,respect the people you with and make sure you give your best all the time.Junior currently in the books of University of Johannesburg football club.Regardless during his football journey, he enjoyed working with coach Wonderboy Myanga ,who is his development coach,also told us ,coach Woñder have him a chance to played a proper Academy Football, also won plenty trophies with him at Sneakers Development and helped him to developed to become a Better Striker Today,Secondly said its coach Andrew ex Mbombela City Lads Fc fitness trainer was his best coach regarding advices,because he coached him at Lowveld High ,Lastly coach Mandla Zwane of UJ,he learnt a lot under his guidance ,stating he was like a father figure to him and he allowed him to improved other aspects of his game by improving his mental stability and gave him a chance to showcase his talent in a Marketable environment.
Putla started playing football at tender age of 8 years old ,he was influenced by the environment was in Johannesburg ,also was inspired by the people around him.Putla s’ dream is to become one of top and best players in South Africa regarding football fraternity . when we asked him what delayed his progress replied lack of knowledge and Connections ,also the person who scouted or spotted him is coach Stam or choach Wonder in the dusty street of Matsulu .Before he came in Mpumalanga he was in Dayveton played for Dayveton United ,Benoni Premier United both Development ,in Mpumalanga Nelspruit ,Matsulu,Lekazi played for Stam Academy, Young Lions development ,Sneakers Development team, Lekazi Supersport ,Mighty Beez Fc SAB,Thabo All Stars Fc ,Tk Stars Fc,Foreck institute Fc. Zandi started playing football at UKZN,initially she was a netball player for the Varsity Squad until Coach Thina who was head Coach that time and Coach Mosh (assistant) called her to come assist since she had good handling skills ,and the height to come help out as they were approaching Varsity Cup.She responded when we asked her who influenced or inspired her to become a football player, she is a sports person so she had that sport background,She started falling in love with football because she used to watch football matches at Campus. She so players like Kholosa Biyana and she was really impressed with how she played,She started falling deeper,as the love grew for football she started googling more about it and started goalkeeper training. De gea,Near and Steven are one of the overseas goalkeepers she look up too.Gross happened to be her favourite local because she had a chance to see him train at their campus and insisted he’s grown to be one of the best.her ambitions she would love to be part of the National Team and probably overseas one day,from being just a netball player to playing in the Varsity Cup,USSA and now National Women S’ League has helped her build a lot of confidence in herself and taught her the importance of Consistency. Therefore, as a persistent person she believe is capable. She will keep going till she get what She want,through discipline and hardwork of course. Her previous teams:Real Dolphins (Absa),UKZN Ladies (Sasol).Current: Durban Ladies fc (National Women S’League) ,her achievements received 2 moments of brilliance in the Varsity Cup,also she received Goalkeeper of a tournament, a league at UKZN,said it might not be enough but for her is something special for someone who started goalkeeping in 2018.Players Motivated her every day is Hilda (TUT),Memory Makhanya (Durban Ladies),Favourite goalie is the Bloemfontein Celtics Goalie, insisted she forgot her name,also Kholosa Biyana,she had the privilege to play in the same team as her.she then played against her as she was playing for UWC in the SNWL,commented about her She’s a real hard worker,from playing with her to seeing her playing overseas really motivates her to do better.Besides that,she also very motivated person,she will push herself really hard when she wants something .Zandi think like to applaud herself as well for always going hard for what she wants.Things she learned during her football journey ,told us in football you learn a lot of things that not only help you in the pitch but off the pitch too.To her football is basically everything that happens in their daily lives,repeatedly said without hardwork,you hardly make it out here.Even at school or work,you should be able to plan and execute just like in football.Told us team work is as important in football as it is at work or school,she said a successful team or Company is one that beats with one heart.Specifically doesn’t have a favourite coach highlighted all they were best ,she worked with Coach Thinasonke Mbuli (Banyana Banyana assistant Coach),she helped her a lot in becoming the player she is today.She also worked with Coach Tho Mlaba,who was a Goalkeeper Coach ,that man taught her almost everything she know about Goalkeeping and lastly Coach Nathi Mbili (Currently Durban Ladies head Coach).He believes in her craft and pushes beyond words could explain.Zandi in Action .Zandi in training with Durban Ladies told us with a smiled National Women League is very Competitive and demanding ,must prepare well all the times.Recently she signed with Wm scouting Agency as their representatives
